Both Classic Award Flash utility or the newer SmartFlash utility can be used to upgrade the BIOS

WARNING: Experienced users only. DO NOT upgrade your BIOS unless absolutely necessary

Before upgrading the BIOS, reset the BIOS back to factory defaults first (Load Optimized Defaults).

For motherboard with built-in HighPoint RAID, you MUST backup all data before proceeding with the BIOS upgrade.
